We had the pleasure of teaming up with some of Byron Bay’s incredible wedding creatives to bring together this fresh new look as part of our summer wedding style guide. Due to international travel still proving to be uncertain, we thought we would bring the beautiful European summer vibes to Byron Bay! So here is our new style collection - A E G E A N.
Aegean, as the name suggests, emulates the coastal ambiance of the Greek Islands with its azure blue seas, dramatic coastline, and stunning whitewash buildings. This look draws inspiration from the stunning coastlines of the Mediterranean to create a fresh and luxe coastal wedding vibe, incorporating a beautiful calming palette of natural chalky whites, dove greys, pale dusty blue tones, with a hint of citrus creating a light and fresh feel to your wedding styling. Our all-white furniture base is the best starting point to create this fresh summery look. It incorporates an abundance of loosely draped white linens, textural elements of chalky white ceramics and columns, layered with woven and light timber elements to give that authentic Grecian feel.

This ceremony feel is sophisticated but simple, it works well with the natural Byron Bay surrounds given the white furniture base which ensure it pops against a green backdrop. Whether your backdrop is sweeping ocean views, hinterland or an intimate setting amidst a beautiful garden or orchard, these locations will all work perfectly with this style.
Cocktail Hour
Cocktail hour is all about the island vibes. High bars mixed with daybeds to give that seaside cabana holiday feel. This is one of the best parts of the day where guests can relax, sip cocktails and catch up with their favourite people. A few umbrellas complete the vibe and also add that practical, much needed shade.
We suggest making your bar a focal feature and styling this with an abundance of fresh fruit and a statement floral display. Think fresh lemony cocktail flavours, seafood canapés and fresh citrus fruits for pops of colour.
Reception Styling
