Isabella and Michael’s wedding day was a fun and vibrant summer soiree, exploding with colour and an incredible energy that we just couldn’t wait to share with you.
Set at the stunning Earth House in the Byron Bay Hinterland and planned by the very talented Emily from Elope, we knew when we saw the first Pinterest Board that this was going to a fabulous day! Classic and minimal in its foundations, Isabella and Michael always envisioned adding a bright, fun, happy burst of colour as the cherry on top of their fabulous day and we were all here for it!
So let us introduce you to Isabella and Michael and their chosen team of incredible creatives and talk you through how we collectively brought their exciting vision to life!
The Ceremony
The ceremony took place under the iconic Fig Tree, a perfect backdrop for this romantic celebration of love. Guests were seated on the soft, blonde woven chairs, which added a light, natural touch to the setting and allowed the couple’s vows to take center stage. At the end of the aisle, two square textured plinths topped with beautiful florals created an intimate and serene altar. The elegant arrangements by Nikau brought a burst of color and life to the space, perfectly complementing the earthy tones of the venue.
What made this ceremony even more personal and heartwarming was the involvement of Michael’s father, who had the honor of officiating. The connection between the couple and their families was palpable throughout the entire ceremony, with the tranquil surroundings of Earth House amplifying the emotional significance of the moment.
For the signing of the registry Isabella and Michael opted for a Round Oak Signing Table with two more blonde woven chairs with a white muslin draping. This delicate and simple setup allowed Isabella and Michael to share this special moment with their loved ones in a relaxed and natural setting, and it also provided the perfect spot for guests to gather and cheer them on as they signed their marriage certificate.

Cocktail Hour
After the ceremony, guests made their way to the deck and entrance area of the Earth House for the cocktail hour, where the atmosphere was relaxed yet effortlessly chic. Three Ibiza Square Top High Bar Tables were placed around the space, perfect for standing and mingling as guests enjoyed signature drinks and canapés. These stylish tables, combined with twelve Bianco Bar Stools, created a comfortable and modern space for everyone to relax and socialize.
To enhance the relaxed vibe, Isabella and Michael selected a Pretzel Lounge Set, which invited guests to sit back and enjoy the natural beauty of the venue. A mix of four Cinnamon Stripe and four Natural Linen cushions, along with three Dune Scalloped Umbrellas, provided both comfort and shade, ensuring the perfect balance between style and practicality as guests sipped drinks and took in the view.
To add a touch of glamour to the cocktail hour, guests sipped on Watermelon Southside Cocktails served in elegant Vintage Champagne Coupes. The refreshing, vibrant drink was a perfect match for the warm Byron Bay weather and added a playful yet sophisticated element to the occasion. Along with the cocktails, guests enjoyed a selection of delicious canapés, including the crispy arancini balls pictured above, all beautifully prepared by Fig Tree Catering. The tasty treats perfectly complemented the laid-back vibe of the event, ensuring everyone was well-fed and satisfied as they mingled and enjoyed the stunning surroundings.

The Reception
As the evening progressed, guests entered the main reception area inside the Earth House, a space made from rammed earth that oozes warmth and character. The decor inside was a beautiful fusion of modern elegance and rustic charm.
The reception tables were set with White Trestle Tables, each featuring a double-width design to accommodate the guest list comfortably. Paired with Blonde Woven Chairs, the seating arrangements felt stylish and organic, matching the natural aesthetic of the venue. White Blend Tablecloths and Muslin Table Runners draped gracefully over the tables, adding texture and refinement to the space.
Each place setting was thoughtfully curated with Matte Gold Cutlery, White Standard Plates for mains and sides, and Cream Fringe Napkins, which were loosely draped between the plates for an effortless yet polished look. To add an element of warmth and intimacy, Amber Tumblers and Amber Wine Glasses were used, their rich tones contrasting beautifully with the neutral color palette.
For an added touch of romance, Dinner Candle Packages with Gold Bases and Small Candle Packages were placed on the tables and our Brass Ring with Frosted Globe pendants hung above the table, casting a soft, glowing light across the room. The floral arrangements from Nikau were displayed in Low and Tall Sand Stack Vases, a stunning combination that added height and texture to the tables while echoing the earthy surroundings of Earth House.
For the grand finale, Isabella and Michael's guests were treated to a decadent dessert display that was as beautiful as it was delicious. The dessert table was thoughtfully designed with a Round Oak Table, repurposed from the ceremony, was draped with a White Round Cloth and adorned with four Marble Platters, displaying an array of treats that included donuts, fresh strawberries, and cookies, all provided by the couple themselves. This sweet spread added a personal and indulgent element to the celebration, giving guests a delightful and memorable way to end the evening.
