We had the pleasure of teaming up with some of Byron Bay’s most talented wedding creatives including the amazing Wilderness Flowers to bring together this fresh, vibrant look for the summer season. The famed Isle of Capri, located off the Italian coast, is known for its rugged landscape, upscale hotels, designer fashions, creative arts, and of course all the delicious cocktails you could dream of, similar in fact to the Byron Bay region. Taking our inspiration from the colourful island coastline to create a fresh and sophisticated Mediterranean wedding vibe, incorporating an exciting palette & inviting textures that include natural chalky whites, woven wicker, coastal blue hues and bottle green tones, with unexpected accents of citrus and ruby red creating a light and fresh feel to your wedding styling.

The Ceremony
This ceremony feel is sophisticated yet simple, complementing the natural beauty of the coastal back drop. Flowing white linen draping softens and frames this stunning backdrop, accented with a cluster of white woven pendants to create a perfectly defined focal point for the ceremony.
Blonde chairs are the perfect seating option and pair perfectly with the white linen, which is carried through across the signing table. These elements are seamlessly brought together with the incredible floral installation, created by the team at Wilderness Flowers, using our broken arch arbour to create an asymmetrical design and dress the space perfectly..
Whether your ceremony backdrop is sweeping ocean views, emerald green hinterland or an intimate setting amidst a beautiful garden or orchard, these elements will all work perfectly together in any setting.
Cocktail Hour
Cocktail hour is one of the best parts of the day where guests can relax, sip cocktails and catch up with their favourite people while relaxing into the flow of the afternoon! High bars & stools mixed with resort-style lounges help to create that relaxed seaside holiday feel. A few bold umbrellas and cushions add the finishing touches whilst also adding that practical, much needed shade and comfort for your guests.
We suggest making your bar a focal feature and styling this with an abundance of fresh fruit and a statement floral display. Think fresh summery cocktail flavours, seafood canapés and fresh citrus fruits for pops of colour.
The Reception
To continue the Italian coastal feel into your reception, the tables are styled with flowing linen tablecloths, a combination of fruits, florals, candles and shells that keep the feeling relaxed, yet carefully detailed. Stand-out elements such as the modern gold cutlery, amber glassware, marine stripe linen napkins and ruby red wave menus add a touch of excitement and sophistication to the tables.
With no two floral arrangements the same, clusters of tapered ivory candles with short ripple tealight holders and alternating napkin styles, it’s this fusion of different textures and tones that add interest and depth to the table styling.
Of course, the final elements to bring the reception together are the unique and gentle wave pendants combined with the festoon lights and soft, romantic draping that all sit gracefully overhead. And don’t forget that fantastic, retro cake!!
